Winter Football
This age group begins the competition road for the kids U5 to U16 age group. The winter season runs from March/ April through to August.
Winter Program Snapshot
Cubs U3-5s – Saturdays will be the main training day & we will also offer a mid week 430pm session for additional training sessions (“user pays” for the additional Wednesday session). Saturdays morning start at 830am.
*All fees include jersey, shorts, socks, Saturday session and end of year trophy.
U6/7s – Pro Coach Training Mondays will feature & we will also offer a mid week 430pm session for additional sessions (“user pays” for the additional Wednesday session). Saturdays mornings will be 830am starts.
Local opposition teams come to our home ground on a regular basis for greater competition. 
*All fees include jersey, shorts, socks, Monday Pro Coaching, Saturday games and end of year trophy – this all for less than $16 per week!
U8s to U16 – Winter Season Program, for these age groups, they will compete in ability matched games. This will be more competitive & great for development.
Pro Coach Mondays will continue across all age groups, with volunteer coaching on Wednesdays. All games played on Saturdays -  April to August.
*All fees include jersey, shorts, socks, Monday Pro Coaching, (Wednesday Parent/volunteer coach training), Saturday games and end of year trophy – this all for less than $19 per week!
All Ages - Training will take place at Heffron Park, Robey St, by Des Renford Swimming Pool.
Monday Pro Coaching & Wednesday is team training with your volunteer coach. 
Pro Coach Training Mondays Times - each session runs for an hour starting at 430pm (U6/7), 530pm (U8/9),
630pm (U10/11/12).

Small Sided Games Snapshot
Small Sided Football is a key initiative of our club .
- More fun and individual enjoyment due to smaller fields and simplified rules
- More playing time, which maximizes individual participation and involvement
- Far more repeated touches of the ball by all players on the field
- More shots on goal more chances to defend
- More involvement leading to greater improvement in fitness
 
Small Sided Football are about learning, self experiencing, having a lot of
touches on the ball and above all having a lot of FUN.
 
U6's & 7's
The games are 4 players v 4 players.
No goalkeepers and No offside.
No throw ins – when the ball goes out there is a kick in.
No corners.
The ball is restarted from the goal line by the defending team.
Ball Size - Size 3.
After a goal has been scored the game is restarted from the halfway line.
Field Size 30m x 20m
Goal Size 1.8 x .9m
Game duration - 15min warm up + 2 x 15min halves
 
U8's & 9's
The games are 7 a side (inc Keeper)

Ball Size - Size 3.
 
After a goal has been scored the game is restarted from the halfway line.
Field Size 40m x 30m - permanently marked with permanent posts.

U10's, 11's & 12s
The games are 9 a side (inc Keeper)
Team Size - 10 minimum to 12 maximum
